Full Screen Mode on OS X Lion
Ok, I fear I may have been a right idiot.
I've never really liked the multiple desktop concept, so when it came to OS X I was a bit... 'meh'. But Apple introduced full screen mode for apps, in Lion I think, which basically takes up a whole desktop 'space' with one application, and they can be flicked through using three fingers side-to-side on the trackpad or browsed using three fingers up.
A friend just got an 11" Air, which, while I love in theory, I'd always thought had a way too tiny screen to be useful. But, despite being brand new to the Mac, she has EVERYTHING full-screen, and it looks fantastic.
Having Safari in full screen mode on this 15" high-res MBP is just... woah. I wonder if I can work like this? It's such a better use of screen space!
Anyone else a full screen mode convert?
