Let me start out by saying that I am a complete gadget freak in every sense of the word. Like several on Talk3G I believe that I stand out from the masses inasmuch as I am not normal Ordinary folk simply do not behave like some of us. If it is electronic, does stuff, and I can afford it I will probably do my utmost to buy it. To me these things are my toys - although some do get very serious use indeed. But handsets, how much does a handset need to do to be practical and useful?

MMS pictures, and lots of them too. Quite unusual for me, but I had a good reason today, and none of it for personal entertainment either.

We mostly read about these new(ish) technologies being used for social pleasure, and not much by way of for business. And I am not one of those who blogs my way through life sending all and sundry pictures of what I am up to. Its just not something that I do. Mostly I'm so busy doing whatever it is that I don't even think of whipping out the phone/camera...

Like moths to a flame, the iPhone still pulls 'em in.

It is quite amazing how this little device has such an attraction for people. Most times when I take it out folk get all glazed eyed over the thing. It is most certainly 2007/8's object of desire.
